Before the release of her new single “Bad Idea Right?” this Friday (Aug. 11) at midnight, Olivia Rodrigo is preparing a music video.
“Bad Idea Right?” is set to release at midnight ET on Friday (Aug. 11). The virtual gathering at 8 p.m. PT will start one hour before the song drops. It is the second song from Guts, her sophomore album slated for release in September, following her chart-topping single “Vampire.”
The singer behind “Drivers License” teased her upcoming music video for “Bad Idea Right?” on TikTok by sharing a dance clip with her friends, including fellow pop singer-songwriter Tate McRae, former Bizaardvark costar Madison Hsu, and actress Iris Apatow. She captioned the video “bad idea right? video out on fridayyyyy” and added “featuring my favorite girlz.”
Rodrigo recently unveiled the complete tracklist for her second album, ‘Guts', which is the follow-up to her Grammy-winning debut ‘Sour'. The album includes songs like ‘All American Bitch', ‘Ballad Of A Homeschooled Girl', ‘Love Is Embarrassing', ‘Pretty Isn't Pretty' and more. Earlier this summer, Rodrigo revealed that she had already come up with the title for her second album even before ‘Sour' was released. She said that she loves the word ‘Guts' because it means bravery and intuition, and is something that she has been thinking about a lot lately.
