James Blake has released his sixth studio album, “Playing Robots Into Heaven”, which you can stream below. After experimenting with ambient music last year, Blake returns to his roots with electronic music similar to his early EPs such as “The Bells Sketch” and “CMYK”.
The lead single “Big Hammer” is a fast-paced track that showcases Blake's confidence and experience in the music industry. The song starts with an ominous beat, then swells into a trap-inspired banger, and comes with a heist-themed music video directed by Oscar Hudson.
Blake will embark on an international tour to promote the album, starting at the Fabrique in Milan on September 18th. The tour includes a hometown show at Alexandra Palace in London on September 28th and will wrap up in Los Angeles on October 20th.
