James Bay, a Grammy nominee, has returned with brand-new music. The album “Leap” by the British singer-songwriter is about his encounters with love and solitude. James discusses the album’s intimate nature as well as his upcoming joint North American tour with The Lumineers.
The release of Bay’s new album by EMI Records and Republic Records is scheduled for July 8. An album preview is provided via the track “One Life.” This song, like March’s “Give Me the Reason,” honors Bay’s longtime partner Lucy Smith, who gave birth to his daughter Ada in October last year.
