Jillian Rose Banks, also known as Banks, is an American singer, songwriter, and poet who has released a fourth single off her forthcoming album SERPENTINA.
“I Still Love You” is minimal, delicate, and sweet, as Banks explains: “I’ve kept this song close for nearly six years.” It seemed like a personal secret that I wanted to keep to myself. But I now feel ready, if not overjoyed, to share this with the rest of the world… When you listen, I hope you feel like you’re sitting next to me. And I hope all who hear it find it as precious as I do.” It’s a nice song full of desire about loving and missing someone you no longer talk to.
As she sings to an ex-lover, Banks shares some of the first songs she composed. The Serpentina singer debuted the coquettish but sad music video for the song “I Still Love You” on Monday.
