BLEU is a Mobile, Alabama-based rapper. Yung Bleu is another stage name for him. He has received a lot of attention as a result of his Investments mixtape series, which he has been releasing.
Bleu was offered a deal with Boosie’s company, Badazz Music Syndicate, which is distributed by Columbia Records, after getting to know him and collaborating with him.
Yung Bleu started making music in 2013. He put out a series of mixtapes that got his name known in the Southern scene. Eventually, Boosie Badazz’s label, Bad Azz Music Syndicate, got him a deal with Columbia Records.
Yung Bleu returned to the scene in 2017 with the singles “Miss It” and “Ice on My Baby,” both from the mixtape Investments 4, on which YoungBoy Never Broke Again made a guest appearance.
In 2018, Yung Bleu released a remix of “Miss It” with Kid Ink and “Ice on My Baby” with Kevin Jerome Gilyard, better known by his stage name Kevin Gates, who is a rapper, singer, and businessman.
In 2020, Bleu’s last projects for Columbia Records and Bad Azz Music were the mixtape Inv 5 and the EP Bleu Vandross.
